They decide to terminate their trip and return to Earth with their discovery.When they return the children that have been born, a boy and a girl are maturing at an unheard of rate and will be fully mature at the age of fifteen. The offspring are even more intelligent that the parents.They embark on building permanent space stations, terraform Mars and put up permanent habitats on the Moon.They develop Antigravity space drives and turn one of the permanent space stations into the Galaxy Explorer that is powered by a first generation Faster that Light drive and reach out to the stars.They discover that theyre definitely not the only intelligent life in the galaxy and discover that theyre not all peaceful either. They return to earth and embark on a massive fleet building program to make certain that theyre protected in the future.They become involved in space warfare and have to destroy some beings that attack them without warning. They completely destroy 27 star systems. On the way back to earth they stop at a star system and discover a race of beings that pretend to be peaceful. They discover that they arent and are trying to spy on them.They go back to them and capture a ship that turns out to be the answer to their quest to move out into the galaxy. They discover the Centralized Federation and make them their first member to join the UFE.This volume continues to build toward them spreading out into the galaxy and on into the Universe.
